CARING NEIGHBORS

Donations to Portland Backpack are as critical to the students we serve as their ABCs. Joining the Caring Neighbor Club is as easy as 1 2 3! Through this recurring contribution, you sustain Portland Backpack’s mission to serve children at risk of hunger. We fulfill this mission by providing food sacks for weekend days when food scarcity is higher. As we enter the 2026-27 academic year, Portland Backpack serves over 1500 kids weekly with each food sack costing an average of $7.50. 

Your support allows us to serve far beyond what we could do on our own. Thank you!!
